Tomorrow. I know it will not be easy but I am ready for the challenge, we both are.
Today we did some talking about the altitude sickness and what if. The altitude will hit us that is a guarantee but how sick we will become we don’t know as it is all individual. For some people their body easily adopt to the lack of oxygen while others must descend to safety and abort the climb. We decided should one need to descent for safety the other will still continue to the top, but we are confident that we will both watch the sunrise at the roof of Africa on the 18 Feb. 2011.
Pictures and full story will follow when we get back down to the hotel. Short updates will be from our cell phones only which are linked to the blog.
Enjoy life – we are !!!
